yellow

Yellow is my new favorite color. On the road to Eygalières, we passed this field of sunflowers. Tournesol in French, which means turn to the sun.
Having fun testing out my newly replenished watercolor palette. The paper, from a local paper mill, is ultra absorbent 100% cotton and tree-free. Another paper mill, farther afield, is the Moulin de Larroque . I especially love their mini aquarelle pad which is a handy, carte postale size. Perfect for hand-made postcards.
Years ago I was given a Schmincke travel watercolor set which goes with me everywhere. I love its compactness and transportability. Also love the DaVinci travel artist brushes.
